california highway patrol officers will be on the lookout for red noses this WEEKEND, and these noses are doing anything but lighting santa’s way. the chp’s annual christmas maximum enforcement period is set to begin at 6 p.m. friday and end at midnight on monday. last year, chp officers made 658 arrests for d.u.i. during the christmas enforcement weekend. another maximum enforcement period is planned for new years weekend.
