A salinas man who is accused of killing his mother entered a plea of not guilty today. the exact fate of 71-year-old janet “nene” Sorenson is still uncertain…she disappeared on December 7th, and has not been found. Her son, 29-year-old Christopher Sorenson was arrested a few days after she was last seen. He is facing charges of homicide. Christopher Sorenson is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearin on January 5th. Meanwhile, the search for janet Sorenson has expanded to multiple central coast counties.
