a woman was assaulted and mugged in salinas because she was wearing blue. a man approached the victim on sanborn road near del monte avenue and told her she shouldn’t wear blue in that neighborhood. the suspect pulled a gun on the victim before ASSAULTING and robbing her. the victim is recovering at an area hospital. salinas police are seeking the identity of the ASSAILANT.
