The monterey county board of supervisors has voted to approve completing a bike lane along blanco road. The 4 to 1 vote on Tuesday ensured that 200-thousand dollars in state grants would not be lost for the project. Work for the 5-mile long bikeway will include placing signs, thickening the white dividing line on the side of the road, and placing rumble strips on the road.
