Commercial fishing season began today for Dungeness crab. Recreational crabbers had a 10-day head start on the commercial season. Both seasons go until june 30th. Recreational crabbers have a daily catch limit of 10-crabs, with body-sizes of 5-point-75 inches across. Commercial crabbers have a slightly higher threshold; they must throw back any crab less than 6-point-25 inches across.
