Scotts-valley based zero motorcycles debuted a new electric motorcycle this week. Company officials say the 2012“zero-s” can travel 114-miles on a single battery- charge, with speeds up to 88 miles per hour. The company is advertising the new battery life as a major breakthrough for electric motorcycles, allowing about double the distance of a normal battery charge. The motorcycle was debuted at a show in italy this week; the bikes are set to be available to consumers in February.
