A 48-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint on Sunday, at the santa cruz metro station. Thanks to the help of a witness, Santa cruz police officers located the alleged robber on cathcart street. After a brief standoff, and a struggle, 44-year-old Enrique villa was arrested at gunpoint. Villa is facing potential charges of assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and charges from an outstanding warrant. The victim’s purse was returned; she was uninjured.
