a santa cruz county superior court judge is expected to rule on whether a santa cruz man will face a felony or misdemeanor dui. 21 year old donovan hicks barclay the third was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his truck into a tree on summit road last year. PROSECUTORS requested that the judge consider barclay’s juvenile record, specifically a 2007 dui incident in which barclay flipped his vehicle, killing his two cousins. that would raise the current charge from a misdemeanor to a felony. barclay is due back in court on december 16th.
