A 45 YEAR-OLD MAN, WHO IS SAID TO HAVE CAUSED A LOCKDOWN AT CABRILLO COLLEGE LAST MARCH, HAS BEEN ORDERED TO STAND TRIAL. NIGEL SELF, WHO WAS A STUDENT AT THE SCHOOL, IS CHARGED WITH MAKING CRIMINAL THREATS TOWARDS STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES, AFTER “HAVING ISSUES WITH OFFICIALS”. SELF IS SCHEDULED TO RETURN TO A SANTA CRUZ COUNTY COURT ROOM FEBRUARY 6TH (TO BEGIN HIS TRIAL).
IF SELF IS CONVICTED ON ALL OF THE CHARGES AGAINST HIM, HE COULD FACE UP TO 18 MONTHS IN PRISON.
