2-federal grants have been announced for ucsc’s educational partnership center. the grants, worth 14-million dollars, will be distributed over 6-years. the funds are expected to be used to help the program expand services to students in the pajaro valley and monterey county. Those services include counseling, tutoring, and scholarships, to help students attend college.
