Santa cruz county supervisor ellen pririe has announced that she will not seek re-election next year. That will leave an opening for a new representative, for the county’s 2nd district seat. Pririe has served on the county board of supervisors since 2001. The 5th-district seat will also be up for grabs next year. That seat is being vacated by supervisor mark stone, who is running for state assembly.
