A large rock in the roadway caused a motorcycle accident in the santa cruz area on Saturday evening. The 63-year-old cyclist was riding on highway-9, near Keystone Way, (north of Paradise Park), when he stuck the rock. The victim was thrown from his motorcycle, and was unconscious when emergency responders arrived. After being taken to Dominican Hospital, he was airlifted to Stanford Medical Center in critical condition.
