A 31 YEAR-OLD WATSONVILLE MAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO SPEND 5 YEARS IN PRISON, FOR HIS PART IN THE ROBBERY AND MURDER OF ELIAS SOROKIN. ADAM SPENCER HUNT WAS 1 OF 3 MEN ACCUSED OF BEATING SOROKIN TO DEATH INSIDE A FELIX STREET HOME IN 2009. ALTHOUGH HUNT WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER, HE WAS CONVICTED ON THE ROBBERY CHARGE.
HUNT’S CO-DEFENDANT, 41 YEAR-OLD KENNETH KIRK CLAMP, WAS CONVICTED OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER. THE 3RD MAN THOUGHT TO BE INVOLVED IN SOROKIN’S DEATH, 33 YEAR-OLD STEWART SKUBA, IS SCHEDULED TO GO TO TRIAL NEXT MONTH.
