A 74-year-old redwood estates man shot and killed himself yesterday. The man reportedly got out of his car, which was parked in front of capitola city hall, and shot himself in the head. He died after being taken to Dominican hospital. His identity will be released after his family is notified. The incident is under investigation, there was reportedly a suicide note left inside the vehicle.
