plans to construct a mosque in the city of san martin are progressing. the south valley islamic community has been working towards obtaining permits to build a 25-hundred square foot mosque and community center at the intersection of monterey road and california avenue. officials expect the permit process to continue into early 2012, with CONSTRUCTION beginning shortly after that.
