local officials joined a local historian in the 3rd of a series of walks through santa cruz. the summer walk series, hosted by live oak historian norman poitevin, took residents through the twin lakes neighborhood and old holy cross cemetery. director of “friends of santa cruz state parks” bonny hawly talked about the shaky future of twin lakes state beach, and supervisor neal coonerty informed the group of a plan to improve ocean access at the park.
the next summer walk is scheduled for september 13th at 6:15 p.m. at corcoran lagoon, right near ksco studios.
