the school readiness coordinator for first 5 san benito has made plans to retire this month. joyce sweet has been working with first 5 since 2001. since then, she has been involved with programs that help parents read aloud to their children, a summer camp for INCOMING kindergarten students, and school garden project. sweet says the part of the job she will miss the most is the kids.
