a local fitness center recently sold to a stockton based health club company. spa fitness centers, which has been in operation for nearly 40 years, sold to in-shape health clubs in a deal that was finalized last week. the new owners plan to revamp the capitola fitness center completely from top to bottom, including replacing equipment, remodeling the locker rooms, and installing large flat screen t.v.s. in-shape centers is a family-owned company that operate 45 health clubs across california, including clubs in monterey, carmel, pacific grove, and salinas.
