Firefighters in pacific grove were able to extinguish a structure fire yesterday. Multiple fire departments responded to the 3:24 p.m. blaze. The fire had started in the basement of a 2-story Victorian home on the 3-hundred block of cypress street. firefighters were able to put out the flames before the spread to neighboring structures. No injuries were reported; the cause is under investigation.
