2-men were sentenced on Friday to 90-days in jail, for being involved in a street race that ended with the death of a pedestrian. 61-year-old scott wallace douglas was struck and killed in february, as he walked near north davis road, and westridge parkway. 18-year-old mathew ledoux and 23-year-old rafael ibarra junior were given the 90-day sentence by retiring monterey county judge terrance duncan. (they are were also given a 3-year-probation term.) The 2-were convicted of felony vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
