salinas police officers are looking for information on the shooting murder of a salinas man. officers responded to the intersection of vallejo street and linwood drive around 9:15 pm last night, after reports of shots fired and a person who was struck by gunfire. 18 year-old giovanni hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact the salinas police department.
