a plan curtail landslides caused by seepage at the san justo reservoir appears to be SUCCESSFUL. extra liner was added in recent years and return wells were added to reduce water from the hillsides. the plan to alternate the water level in the reservoir hopes to alleviate the need for an estimated 10-million dollar repair. so far, the reservoir is reacting to the changes in water elevation as officials expected.
