two men are being sought in connection with an assault in salinas yesterday. two men in masks approached a man near an auto shop on spence road in salinas around 5 pm yesterday, the men hit the victim with a handgun and pointed it at his face before taking his wallet and fleeing the scene. the suspects vehicle is described as a champagne colored gmc yukon or chevy tahoe. anyone with any information on this assault is asked to contact the monterey county sheriff’s department.
