a long debated shopping center on corral de tierra road was approved yesterday by the monterey county board of supervisors. the 100-thousand square foot center is expected to break ground within 18 months. projected tenants include a grocery store and a restaurant or café. the board of supervisors is expected to meet again for final approvals of the project on august 30th.
