*CHP has closed all lanes in the area of highway 17 at the hwy 1 fishhook, as they respond to a fatal accident. that after an s.u.v. rolled over just after 3 p.m. today. 2-other vehicles were involved in the accident. the s.u.v. burst into flames after the accident. southbound Traffic was being diverted to pasatiempo, northbound is being diverted to emiline, as vehicles start to back up. there is an ambulance on the way to the scene. Drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
