a new fire truck for the watsonville fire department arrived yesterday. the truck, which has been the source of much controversy, has taken more than 2 years to acquire. the watsonville fire department had decided to buy a 1999 ariel ladder truck from pasadena fire department, the delay in delievry of the truck was caused by pasadena fire having to wait for the sale of a truck from long beach fire department. the new truck for watsonville was bought with a 225-thousand dollar grant.
