a man was injured in a COLLISION on san miguel canyon road yesterday that closed the roadway for several hours. around 11 a.m., a man driving a van tried to pass a sedan while heading east, the driver of the van struck a big rig heading the opposite direction. the driver of the van was flown to a bay area hospital, the other drivers involved were not injured. the accident caused diesel fuel to spill onto the roadway, which was closed until 4 p.m. for clean-up procedures.
