Fire investigators in Watsonville have determined what caused a 3-day fire, that destroyed the apple growers ice cold storage building last month. Roofers working on the building are believed to have accidentally started the fire, after flames from a blowtorch blew into the building, igniting a wall made out of cork. The blaze caused more than 10-million dollars in damage to the west beach street building, and to the products inside owned by martinelli’s juice company. Nobody was injured in that fire.
