C.V. CENTURY OLD REMAINS 04-22-11 08:00 a.v.

Anthropologists believe the human remains found Tuesday in Carmel Valley are a century old. The initial examination, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department, shows the bones to be about 100 years old. The remains are expected to be further analyzed by the anthropology department at U.C. Santa Cruz. The bones were discovered by a Seaside resident in the Tassajara area. The cause of death remains under investigation.
