The City of Carmel has a new Interim City Administrator. John Goss was unanimously selected after he was one of 19 people to apply for the temporary position. Goss has served as City Manager for 2 California cities in the past as well as Assistant County Administrator and Interim Planning Director for a large California county. Goss replaces Richard Guillen, who retired last month after a sexual harassment claim was filed against him. Plans to hire a permanent replacement have not yet been announced.
