Police in Santa Cruz are searching for 2 suspects who attempted to kidnap a 16-year old girl last week. The 3:30 p.m. Thursday incident occurred near Berry and Grant Streets when 2 men sitting inside a burnt-orange colored 80’s model vehicle, with a dent in the passenger door, began to follow the girl as she walked past them. The girl began to run after one of the men made a comment about getting inside the car. The men got back into their car and drove away. A sketch has been released of one of the suspects. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Santa Cruz Police.
