A woman scuba diver was hospitalized after she was rescued near Pacific Grove yesterday morning. Emergency crews responded at around 11 a.m. to a report of a woman in distress. The diver was brought to surface after she was found in 70-feet of water between Lovers Point and Point Pinos. Officials say the woman’s dive mates attempted CPR before she was taken by a rescue boat to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, where she was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit.
