2-people were arrested for burglarizing a k-mart store in Salinas yesterday. A Salinas Police officer was flagged down by a security guard at the store, who identified the 2-suspects trying to flee the parking lot. After allegedly resisting arrest, 23-year-old Michael Farley was taken into custody. His accomplice, 26-year-old Joshua Padilla, escaped from the scene. He was located later, after a resident found him inside their house on the 2-hundred block of Massolo Court. He was apprehended with the help of another resident, and both men were booked into Monterey county jail. Stolen items from the residence, as well as the K-mart were recovered.
