8-people were arrested in south Monterey county on Sunday, as part of a joint-operation by several law enforcement agencies. The probation and parole sweep netted arrests in Gonzales, Soledad, Greenfield, and Chualar. The operation was part of a series of sweeps funded by a grant from the state. The on-going Cal-Grip project targets gang members who have violated terms of probation or parole.
