Cal-fire crews had to use a rope-system to rescue a crashed motorcycle rider on Saturday. Several emergency responders participated in the rescue, after the solo-accident was reported at 4p.m. The rider had crashed at Highway-156 and Merrill Road, in Aromas. The victim and his bike fell about 50-feet down an embankment. He was pulled to safety by fire-crews, before ultimately being air-lifted out of the county for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
