A firearm was seized from a motorcyclist last night, after he was hit by a car in Santa Cruz County. 35-year old Gilroy resident Cesar Villagrana was riding southbound on Soquel Drive just before 6 p.m., when he struck a Honda Accord in front of him prior to crossing into the northbound lane, where he was then hit by a Toyota Camry. The gun was found wrapped in a bandana on the motorcyclist before he was airlifted to a Bay Area hospital.
