officials from the united states department of education are conducting an investigation based on complaints of anti-semitism at u.c. santa cruz. a faculty member has complained that a series of pro-palestinian events at the university has crossed the line into anti-semitism and created a hostile environment for jewish students. campus officials say the university will fully cooperate with the federal investigation.
