A Salinas priest pleaded no contest today to molestation charges filed against him in April of 2009. The court indicated that the Reverend Antonio Cortes of St. Mary of the Nativity Chruch will be sentenced to felony probation and faces a possibility of up to a year in Monterey County Jail. Cortes will also be required to register as a sex offender for life. Sentencing is slated for May 4th.
