Police in King City arrested two women yesterday on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of 2 suspicious vehicles parked near San Lucas School at 8:45 a.m. Deputies found 2 women identified as 28-year old Juanita Trevino and 24-year old Frances Cardenas sitting in one of the parked cars. The women were arrested after deputies conducted a search of the vehicle.
