The Monterey County Fair was awarded with 14 awards recently at the Western Fairs Association Awards ceremony. Monterey County took first place for Fair Give-a-ways, Best New Idea, and 2nd place for Agricultural Program, Interim Event Sales Kit, Overall Children’s Program and Volunteer Application. Western Fairs Association is a non-profit trade association that serves the fair industry throughout the Western United States and Canada.
