A 17-year old boy is dead and a 14-year old girl was hospitalized after a collision occurred in San Benito County last night. The 17-year old driver lost control of his 2001 Toyota Tundra pickup at 6 p.m. while he was traveling north on Salinas Road in San juan Bautista. The vehicle rolled multiple times and went off the shoulder of the road. The 14-year old passenger was taken to an area hospital with moderate injuries. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
