The American Red Cross Monterey Bay Area Chapter is seeking nominations for it’s annual “Hero Awards”. The chapter is asking the community to help identify and recognize local heroes for their selflessness and courage during an act or acts of courage to save or attempt to save someone’s life between January 1st 2009 and December 31st 2010. Nominations should include members of the community, which could be a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or family member. All nominees must either work or live in Monterey or San Benito County.The deadline to submit an entry is February 28th.
