Officials at U.C. Santa Cruz reported an over all quiet day yesterday despite a message found on campus last week threatening violence yesterday. University officials stepped up security measures in response to a graffiti message found in a men’s bathroom on January 11th in the Social Sciences 2 building containing a threat of violence to be carried out yesterday, January 18th. The university was opened all day even though some classes were rescheduled, cancelled or relocated. Heightened security measures were enforced along with the presence of additional police officers on campus.
