A 76-man was arrested last week, after allegedly assaulting his granddaughter. In a press release this weekend, a Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputy said that Max Roall Banner was in a confrontation with the 11-year-old at a residence on Lakspur Lane (in Monterey). He allegedly hit the girl in the chest, and tried to prevent her from crying by holding his hand over her mouth. The girl could not breathe, until Banner was pulled off by the girl’s mother. He faces multiple charges.
