A former North Monterey County High School track and football star was fatally shot by Los Angeles police early this morning. Police, who allegedly received reports of a man acting erratically and causing a disturbance at around 3 a.m. in the Playa Vista area, say the man was partially clothed after a scuffle took place when officers tried to detain him before he was shot and killed. The man, who has been identified as 25-year old Reggie Doucet Junior played football at Middle Tennessee State after high school and worked as a personal trainer in Salinas.
