Security at Santa Cruz Parks and the Municipal Wharf will soon be increased. The announcement of a private security pilot project was made today. The new program falls on the heels of a private security project which was incorporated earlier this year in the downtown area. A meeting to evaluate the program’s success is slated for mid January.
