A bomb squad responded this morning to a home in Pacific Grove after vintage military hand-grenades were found. Police say family members of the home’s former tenant, a World War-2 veteran, were cleaning out the residence on the 700 block of Grove Acre Avenue at about 8:30 a.m., when 2 grenades were found inside the home’s garage. Police determined one of the devices was live, and as a precaution, both of the devices were removed.
