Several people were detained in Santa Clara County today in connection with selling marijuana illegally and laundering money. Over the past 8 months, law enforcement agencies have been investigating criminal activities at the Medileaf Marijuana Dispensaries and served search warrants today to 3 stores in Morgan Hill, 2 stores in Gilroy and 2 stores in San Jose. Police say that illegal activities were being performed under the umbrella of California’s legitimate marijuana laws.
