A 30-year-old Salinas woman was arrested on Wednesday, for an alleged hit-and-run incident. Macarena Clyburn was already awaiting sentencing for an armed assault case, when the court was informed of an incident that occurred on November 30th, during which Clyburn allegedly hit a parked car, and fled the scene. She is also accused of being drunk at the time. Her sentencing for the assault case, for which Clyburn is accused of threatening her neighbor with a knife, was re-scheduled to coincide with her arraignment hearing on the new charges. Clyburn is now set to appear in court sometime next month.
