SC social services reform 11/10/10 0700 E.A.

Social services reform was unanimously approved at the Santa Cruz City Council meeting on Tuesday. The city council’s plan identifies priority areas, financial assistance, health care, and resident safety. The plan suggests that funding be doled to organizations based on their ability to address those needs. How the 1 million dollar stream will be allocated is the focus of the next City Council meeting, which is 11 a.m. On November 17 at the Santa Cruz Central Branch Public library.
